Corporate immigration firm Berry Appleman & Leiden has launched an office in Los Angeles, where it will focus on the sports and entertainment immigration practice, the latest step in the specialty firm’s plan to add as many as a dozen new offices within five years.

The Wednesday opening in Los Angeles follows the Dallas-based firm’s expansion into Denver last year, as the firm seeks work from the growing number of technology companies that have settled in Colorado.
