Harris County's 189th District Court seat is a contest between former judge Erin Lunceford and a local attorney, Tamika Craft.
The 189th District is currently held by Judge Scot Dollinger, but Craft trounced him in the May primary with 54.5% of the vote in a three-way race. Like Dollinger, Craft is a Democrat in a district that typically votes Democrat.
