Six bar associations in Dallas with diverse members have launched the Dallas Legal Equity and Diversity Job Board, which aims to provide more job listings for diverse lawyers in north Texas.

“All of the affinity bar associates have the same goal—to make sure they are providing opportunities for professional growth and employment. Companies are really being intentional in increasing diverse hiring,” said Janet Smith, an associate at Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart who is president-elect of the Dallas Asian American Bar Association (DAABA).
