Amazon.com was slapped with a patent infringement lawsuit Monday in Texas Eastern District Court over its use of robotics at fulfillment centers. The lawsuit was filed by Susman Godfrey and other counsel on behalf of LightGuide, a maker of augmented reality systems which asserts three patents related to light-guided assembly system technology. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:22-cv-00433, LightGuide, Inc. v. Amazon.com, Inc., et al.
