Big Law lateral hiring continues at a steady clip in Texas, with Clark Hill picking up Holland & Knight corporate partner Jeff Harvey as a member in Dallas, and McDermott Will & Emery adding Baker Botts intellectual property litigator David Tobin as a partner in Dallas.
The moves, among several announced already this month in Texas, come as a new report from Decipher Investigative Intelligence finds that partner hiring continued at a strong level in Dallas, Houston and Austin during the first nine months of the year, as compared with 2021.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.
