Counsel at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith on Monday removed a wrongful death lawsuit against dental healthcare company Affordable Care to Texas Eastern District Court. The suit was filed on behalf of the estates and families of Dr. Jack E. Burroughs and Dr. Blake G. Sinclair, who died after being shot by a disgruntled patient. The suit alleges that the defendants failed to provide adequate training and safety measures to the staff of the dental clinic where the doctors worked. The plaintiffs are represented by Hossley & Embry, the Vickery Law Firm and Sloan, Hatcher, Perry, Runge, Robertson & Smith. The case is 6:23-cv-00158, Burroughs et al v. Affordable Care, LLC f/k/a Affordable Care, Inc.
