Honeywell International and Resideo Technologies, a Honeywill spinoff focused on home thermostats, were sued on April 21 in Texas District Court for Tarrant County. The suit was filed by the Noteboom Law Firm on behalf of Rachelle Pollard-Fore and the estate of Roberta Pollard. The court case alleges that Pollard died when the temperature in her home reached approximately 113 degrees Farenheit as a result of a defective Resideo thermostat.
