Texas Access to Justice Foundation Sponsors 5 Fellows

The Texas Access to Justice Foundation, the largest state-based funding source for civil legal aid, announced its sponsorship of five fellows in the 2023 Equal Justice Works Fellowship program—a national opportunity for law school graduates to launch their careers through public interest law projects of their own creation.

The Texas Access to Justice Foundation has sponsored the fellowship projects since 2002, as part of the organization's commitment to ensuring access to justice for all. Greenberg Traurig LLP co-sponsors a fellowship with the foundation each year.

"The creative and innovative projects developed by the Equal Justice Works fellows every year shed light on the unmet legal needs many Texas communities face," said Betty Balli Torres, the foundation's executive director. "The foundation is proud to support these five fellows as they begin careers in providing critical civil legal aid services to Texans in need."
