Texas continued its crackdown against deceptive hotel pricing in a new lawsuit filed Thursday in Bexar County district court.
The Office of the Texas Attorney General has filed suit against Booking Holdings Inc.—which operates Booking.com, Priceline.com and Kayak.com—alleging the company violated the state's Deceptive Trade Practices Act by marketing hotel rooms at rates that were not available.
