NewsmakersHolland & Knight has strengthened its health care regulatory and enforcement practice group with the addition of Zubin Khambatta as a partner in Austin, the law firm said. He was previously a partner with Perkins Coie.
Khambatta represents major hospital systems and hospitals, academic medical centers, specialty and pediatric physician practices, clinical laboratories and telehealth, behavioral health and digital health providers in transactional, regulatory and reimbursement matters. He regularly represents health care clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic collaborations, and venture and equity financings, including acquisitions by private equity-backed platforms, strategic acquisitions, institution-to-institution affiliation and collaboration agreements and the acquisition, sale or restructuring of hospitals, physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, ambulance providers and behavioral health practices.
