Confusion in the federal courts over what constitutes a “final” ruling got an answer from the Texas Supreme Court that resuscitates two personal injury claims against The Boeing Co.

At issue was whether the extent of a time period set by statute still applied after the trial court ruled it did not have jurisdiction, and whether the trial court’s subsequent dismissal barred the plaintiffs from proceeding in another court.
