An attorney’s improper communication with an opposing party may lead to sanctions, but does not necessarily reverse a summary judgment, a Harris County appellate court ruled.
Steven Bien Tran, a Houston attorney at Bush & Ramirez who also owns several restaurants, became the target of a sanctions motion following settlement negotiations related to a breach of contract suit.
