Three attorneys have put their names on the ballot to be the next Hidalgo County 332nd District Court judge, a post whose vacancy is being made possible by the retirement of the administrative region’s longest-serving jurist.

Attorneys Abiel Flores, Nereyda Morales-Martinez and Juan Ramon Alvarez are in the Democratic Party primary to take over the Edinburg court from Judge Mario E. Ramirez Jr.
