What are some of your most significant achievements of the past year?

Our international disputes practice has had a tremendous year. We are very proud of the results in the IDE matter given its especially creative strategy but also have delivered outstanding results for other clients. These include successfully resolving disputes following the closing of a USD $165 million cross-border M&A transaction, the termination of which we previously prevented through international emergency arbitration. We also leveraged our expertise to extract an eight-figure USD payment to resolve an international dispute arising out of a USD $500 million cross-border M&A deal.

In these and other matters, we strategically—and creatively—used international-disputes tools to produce exceptional outcomes. In the community, we continue to raise GT's international disputes profile, both locally and around the world. Combined with our results, this has kept our practice on a path of continuous growth.
