As lateral moves continue in Texas, Foley & Lardner added a pair of litigators from Jackson Walker working in sports, entertainment, media and technology, and a finance lawyer from Jones Walker who formerly was controller for the City of Houston.

Jackson Walker litigators Trey McDonald of Houston and James McFall of Dallas joined Foley on Monday. Both joined as partners — McDonald in the business litigation and dispute resolution practice, and McFall in the innovative technology sector. They were each elected to the partnership at Jackson Walker in 2019, but most recently were of counsel, because they stepped back from the partnership to help found Lockerverse, a software company for sports organizations and athletes.
