As out-of-state midsize firms solidify their bases in Texas, Tyson & Mendes, with offices in Houston and San Diego, opened an office in Dallas, and Kaufman Dolowich tapped two women partners to lead its Houston and New Orleans offices.
Recognizing the strength of the Texas legal market, about half of the Am Law 200 have offices in Texas, but midsize firms, such as Tyson & Mendes and Kaufman Dolowich, also recognized the opportunities in the Lone Star State and are building operations in Texas.
