On a listening tour for his candidacy, an issue that kept coming up was the need for attorneys to take over the dockets of lawyers being treated for mental illness or substance abuse.

Steve Benesh, an Austin-based partner at Bracewell, has been touring the state to introduce himself to regional bar associations as the current president of the State Bar of Texas.
Benesh became the incoming president in June, but his campaign to become president started long before. While running for the office, Benesh logged about 19,000 miles on his pickup truck crisscrossing the entire state.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
