Margaret Poissant, the Place 8 judge on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals since 2018, faces GOP challenger Brad Hart.
Poissant came to the bench with more than 30 years of experience as a trial lawyer, having served as lead counsel in hundreds of cases in a broad range of civil and criminal matters in many counties in the state of Texas.
