Waco attorney Gina Parker bested incumbent Judge Barbara Parker Hervey in the GOP primary, putting her on the inside track in the race against Nancy Mulder for Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 7.
Mulder is currently judge of the Dallas County Criminal District No. 6, a seat she won in 2022. Prior to that, Mulder was judge of Dallas Country Criminal Court No. 4 from 2014-2022. Mulder has also served as presiding judge of the Criminal Courts and County Courts of Criminal Appeals and is co-chair of the Step-Up Jail Pre-Trial Release Program.
