Rep. Jeff Leach of Dallas, a Gray Reed attorney, admitted late Monday he erred in trying to influence an appellate judge, after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton referred the matter to the state Supreme Court.
Leach made the admission via a post on the social media platform X.
