The Texas Office of Attorney General announced a settlement exceeding $100 million from lawsuits against TPC Group Inc. and TPC Group LLC related to the 2019 Port Neches explosion.
The explosion resulted in multidistrict litigation that involved a host of personal injury attorneys representing victims whose homes were damaged, In re TPC Group Litigation. The explosion also forced TPC into bankruptcy.
