Within days of a Dec. 11 public reprimand, Burnet County Judge James Oakley resigned amid accusations of sexual harassment and other legal troubles.
Oakley, who is not an attorney, was not present for the Dec. 19 session of Burnet County Commissioners Court, having turned in his letter of resignation the day before, according to an Austin media report.
