A former client of Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons sued the Dallas-founded firm and two lawyers in Houston, alleging they negligently handled a lawsuit that resulted in a $1 million judgment against him.
Jose Magana Garcia, who lives in Harris County, seeks more than $1 million in damages in the suit filed on Dec. 31, 2024, in state district court in Harris County. In addition to Thompson Coe, the defendants are Houston partner Stephanie Krueger and former partner William Moye.
