Lori Arakaki litigates complex commercial disputes before federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as in arbitration proceedings. She recently advanced critical aspects in a case involving a prominent aerospace and defense company and drove significant outcomes in a case with a regional financial institution, defending against allegations of trade secret misappropriation, and was one of the lead lawyers on a complex patent infringement suit. Prior to joining Hicks Johnson, Lori practiced in the litigation group at Willkie Farr & Gallagher and was an associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
Dan Scime focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, including trials and appeals. He has made a significant impact on cases in the renewable energy space for a client with multiple parallel proceedings and a decommissioning case for a leading U.S. oil and gas producer. Dan has extensive experience handling matters including shareholder suits, securities class actions, contract disputes, antitrust matters, torts cases, international arbitrations, and cybersecurity matters, and he also assists corporations with both internal investigations and government enforcement matters. Prior to joining Hicks Johnson, Dan was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Before law school, he worked for Google.
