Houston shareholder C. Larry Carbo will become managing shareholder of Houston-founded Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, Williams & Aughtry on Jan. 1, 2026, succeeding Larry Campagna, a Houston shareholder who has managed the firm since January 2020.

Carbo, chair of the firm's commercial litigation practice and a board member, will work closely with Campagna over the next year, observing what he does on a day-to-day basis, in preparation for the change in leadership as part of the Am Law 200 firm's succession planning. As a board member, Carbo said, he's already been working closely with Campagna the last couple of years. And, Campagna notes, as finance chair, Carbo is already familiar with the financial side of the firm.
