Two barratry-solicitation and civil conspiracy lawsuits filed by Buzbee Law Firm founder Tony Buzbee against Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, client Roc Nation and a Mississippi attorney have been removed to a federal district court.
Buzbee filed two nearly identical suits against the defendants, the first in December on behalf of client Gerardo Garcia, and the second earlier this month on behalf of client Jose Maldonado. Both cases will now proceed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas in Houston. The suits were removed to federal court on Tuesday.
