On Nov. 14, Texas Lawyer held a luncheon to honor attorneys recognized in Extraordinary Women in Texas Law , a special magazine that listed 30 women who have had an impact on firms, government, nonprofits, academia and the corporate world in Texas within the past five years. Texas Lawyer published the magazine on Sept. 29. Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Chief Judge Edith H. Jones and U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, were the keynote speakers at the Extraordinary Women in Texas Law luncheon, which was held at the Belo Mansion & Pavilion in Dallas.
