Formal Proceedings Initiated Against CCA Presiding Judge Sharon Keller

Keller faces a public hearing over what the judicial conduct commission alleges was her decision not to keep the CCA open past its 5 p.m. closing time on Sept. 25, 2007, when attorneys for Michael Richard were trying to file a stay of execution and writ of prohibition. Keller is represented by Jackson Walker partner Charles "Chip" Babcock.
