Marilea Lewis’ original plans for an undergraduate degree and her current job as a family court judge have one thing in common: drama.
Lewis, who grew up in Waco, was offered an academic scholarship to her hometown college, Baylor University, where she wanted pursue a theater degree. But at that time, she also was thinking about leaving Waco to attend the University of Texas and join its theater department.
