William L. “Lanny” Boeing, vice president and general counsel for EXCO Resources Inc. of Dallas, used lawyers from Vinson & Elkins to negotiate a natural gas joint venture with BG Group plc valued in excess of $1.3 billion.
BG Group, a British company, turned to lawyers from Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Houston on the deal announced on June 30.
