Attorneys unable to participate in live or online continuing legal education seminars could download accredited CLE courses to their iPods and tune in at their convenience under proposals the State Bar of Texas board of directors will consider Jan. 28.

The tradeoff, however, is that the proposals would require attorneys to complete two more hours of accredited coursework to meet the minimum continuing legal education (MCLE) requirement in Texas.
