A case pending before the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is breaking new ground on a new action: child pornography victims who seek restitution from criminal defendants convicted of possessing illegal images of them.

In Re Amy: The Victim in the Misty Child Pornography Series is the most thoroughly litigated child pornography restitution case of its kind, according to three lawyers involved. And it highlights some difficult legal issues presented in those claims.
