When Austin attorney Daniel R. Castro received Entrepreneur Media Inc.’s cease-and-desist letter threatening to sue him, first he got mad — then he beat EMI to the courthouse.

EMI wants Castro to withdraw an application he filed with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to register his Entrepreneur.Ology trademark and to stop using his entrepreneuerology.com domain, according to the letter.
