Andrews Kurth has agreed to pay $750,000 to Harris County to reimburse it for what the county owes to settle a dispute with the Internal Revenue Service over the tax-exempt status of some public debt.
On Feb. 8, the Harris County Commissioners Court approved an agreement calling for the Houston-based firm to pay the money to the county, because the county has come to terms with the IRS to settle the dispute for $750,000.
