Voters in the State Bar of Texas 2011 referendum resoundingly rejected six ballot items containing proposed amendments to the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct — some by nearly 80 percent of the vote.
Of those licensed attorneys eligible to vote, nearly 44 percent cast ballots.
