When events move quickly, as they have in Libya recently, firms must supply quick answers. So say seven lawyers at Texas-based firms with Middle East offices and clients that do business with or in Libya.
Some oil and gas industry companies first sought to do business with the Libyan government and businesses in Libya in the 1960s. But they were ejected from the country by its leader Moammar Gadhafi in the 1970s, when his government took control of the country’s oil assets.
