Texas Lawyer invited attorneys to share their New Year’s resolutions. Their emailed 2012 resolutions include goals such as getting to work earlier, going to trial at least once during the year and relying less on email when communicating with clients. These goals for the coming year, and many others, are listed below, edited for length and style.

“I come from a family of teachers, and I am married to one. I resolve to learn more in 2012 about the continuously evolving health-care regulatory and compliance world and to reflect throughout the year on the lessons that I’ve learned from my present-day teachers: my work colleagues and mentors.”
