Cantu v. Hidalgo County

The appellant challenges a take-nothing judgment in his termination suit against Hidalgo county, his former employer. To constitute an adverse employment action, post-termination conduct must have a tangible adverse effect on the terms and conditions of the plaintiff's current or prospective employment. Potential delay in the resolution of the claim, alone, is not a tangible adverse effect on the terms of current or future employment. The trial court's judgment is affirmed. Corpus Christi Court of Appeals, No. 13-11-00245-CV, 11-01-2012.
