Members of Fish & Richardson's litigation group in Dallas racked up a series of impressive wins for plaintiffs and defendants during the 15-month period beginning in January 2012.
The Fish litigators started 2012 by securing a $158 million settlement with Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Janssen in a case it worked on with the Texas Office of the Attorney General (OAG). The settlement came after approximately a week of trial in State of Texas ex rel. Jones v. Janssen LP, et al.,a civil Medicaid fraud case involving allegations about Janssen's marketing of the antipsychotic drug Risperdal to the Texas Medicaid program for use by children.
