Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney Joe Shannon Jr. saw his pay cut by 19.17 percent on Sept. 10, when the Tarrant County Commissioners Court approved new salaries for elected officials.
According to a legal notice about the salary changes, the Tarrant County Criminal DA now makes $239,279.44 annually. But, effective Oct. 1, that salary will drop to $193,402.70 — a cut of $45,876.74.
