Jury awards $3,700 to plaintiff claiming back and neck injuries

A driver who claimed back and neck sprains and strains was awarded $3,700 on July 15. David Anderson was rear-ended by Rosa Talamantez, who didn’t strongly dispute liability. On the day of the accident, he went to a chiropractor, who treated him for about three months. The defense argued that the treatment was attorney-referred and that the medical expenses were not reasonable and necessary. Also, there were three treatment gaps of at least nine days each and one gap was 29 days.
