Norris Hayes, who owns a manufacturing business in Sugar Land, prefers small law firms because he appreciates “special care.” So, when his longtime lawyer, Joseph DiCecco, moved from DiCecco Fant & Berman to Gordon & Rees in 2005, Hayes was concerned. He ultimately stuck with DiCecco.

“We had a discussion,” Hayes said about DiCecco’s move to a large firm and how it would affect his legal costs and his relationship with DiCecco. “It’s worked out.”
