A Bexar County woman sued Webster lawyer John H. Weigel and his firm, alleging Weigel “hoodwinked” her into cashing out securities and a retirement account, then charged her nearly $100,000 in fees for a divorce that she alleges shouldn’t have cost more than $15,000.

Marilyn J. Long-Kline alleges in the petition she filed on Nov. 18 that she ended up in dire financial straits because she had paid so much to Weigel and his firm, and sheended up losing her house to foreclosure.
