More than 1,000 miles separate Dallas and Toledo, Ohio, but geography isn’t the only difference between the hip-replacement multidistrict litigation filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the one filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
In the Toledo hip-replacement MDL, plaintiffs and defendants, including Johnson & Johnson and its subsidiary DePuy Orthopaedics Inc., announced on Nov. 19 that they had reached a tentative proposed settlement, according to an official website established by the U.S. court for claimants.
