Criminal-defense lawyers will get more time to review 500 hours of recordings in the case of three men who allegedly planned to give a $1.2 million bribe to U.S. District Judge Sam Sparks of Austin. Sparks didn’t know of it.

Attorneys now have until July 31 to file pretrial motions in the case against Francisco Antonio Colorado Cessa, Francisco Agustin Colorado Cebado and Ramon Segura Flores, according to a Feb. 4 order granting a defense motion in United States v. Colorado Cessa.
