While solar energy projects have been prevalent in California, Arizona and New Jersey for many years, large scale solar development is just now gaining a foothold in Texas.
Texas’ installed solar energy capacity could easily double or triple over the coming years. This increase largely follows a boom in hydrocarbon production from the Eagle Ford and Cline shale plays, along with continued production from other proven reservoirs throughout the state.
