Denise Pratt, a family court judge in Harris County who faces complaints about how she runs her court, will be in a primary runoff on May 27 as she seeks re-election in the 311th Family Court.

The primary battle for the 311th Family Court was a hot contest for Republicans. The primary for the Democratic nomination for Harris County district attorney, won by Kim Ogg, also garnered a lot of attention.
