It took just 64 days for three lawyers and a Round Rock firm to resolve a former personal injury client’s legal malpractice suit against them.
Plaintiff Ethan Lee filed his original petition on Jan. 16. On March 21 he and the four defendants—Charles Miller, Meredith Semler, John Izzo, and Izzo and Semler—filed a joint motion for nonsuit and dismissal. Just 17 minutes after the filing of the motion, the Travis County District Clerk’s Office file-stamped a judge’s order dismissing the suit with prejudice.
