Judged by candidates’ behind-the-scenes communications, the State Bar of Texas president-elect race is much calmer than 2013′s unique three-way race, which generated numerous complaints.
Since 2011, Texas Lawyer has requested records under the Texas Public Information Act related to that year’s president-elect race. The state bar released 1,957 pages of emails this year, but the pile included just two minor complaints against candidate Allan DuBois, a San Antonio solo. The bar found that DuBois did nothing wrong in regard to either complaint.
