A large team of in-house lawyers represented Marathon Oil Corp. in negotiating a definitive agreement to sell Marathon Oil Norge AS, a wholly owned subsidiary, to Norway’s Det norske oljeselskap ASA for $2.7 billion.
Houston-based Marathon also turned to Arntzen de Besche Advokatfirma, a Norwegian firm, and Dentons UKMEA for the transaction.
